I wrote my first line of Swift eight years ago and never really stopped. Almost everything I know since has come from shipping: App Store review, production crash logs, and the slow discipline of making an app feel native rather than merely functional.
The work I’m proudest of is Unplug Meditation — 300K+ downloads, and the first app to adopt SharePlay, which Apple highlighted at WWDC 2021. Alongside it I shipped Foodmandu, Nepal’s first food-delivery app, and BigMart’s field CRM — each with real users, and real consequences when I got it wrong.
These days the work splits three ways. I lead iOS and run engineering as Co-CTO at MedEx. I take on LiDAR and ARKit R&D. And I build my own products — Tapssy, which earns recurring revenue, and Bukline, which I’m designing and building solo — plus the AI agents and RAG systems that increasingly sit underneath all of it.
I’m based in Kathmandu and work comfortably across time zones. If you’re building something on iOS, or putting LLMs somewhere they actually have to hold up, I’d like to hear about it.
